BELOW ARE SOME BASIC AND IMPORTANT DETAILS FOR YOUR STAY. PRIOR TO ACCEPTANCE OF ANY RESERVATION, THE FULL VACATION RENTAL CONTRACT MUST BE READ, SIGNED AND RETURNED.
In order to book and hold your reservation, the signed Vacation Rental Contract, the Security Deposit and 50% of the rental invoice total must be received by Owner.
30 days prior to check in date, the remaining 50% of the rental invoice total is due.
If a reservation is booked within 30 days of check-in the signed Vacation Rental Contract, the security deposit and 100% of the rental invoice amount is immediately due to secure the reservation.
We accept PayPal or a check, if received within 3 business days of acceptance of your reservation.
A $300 Security Deposit is required. Security Deposit will be refunded within 10 business days of check-out if no damage is found. Normal wear and tear will not be considered damage. Issues such as a broken window, stained carpet, missing furniture, evidence of smoking or pet damage, etc. will be assessed at check out and guest will be notified immediately of any found damage. The costs of remediating any damages will be communicated with the Renters when said costs are determined. The Security Deposit may not be refunded in the event that there is a cancellation in accordance with the Cancellation policy below.
ANY CANCELLATION AT ANY TIME WILL RESULT IN FORFEIT OF SECURITY DEPOSIT TO COVER ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS
If cancellation is requested MORE THAN 60 DAYS prior to check-in date, Renters will receive a full refund of amount paid less the security deposit.
If cancellation is requested 30-60 DAYS prior to check-in date Renters may receive a 100% refund of the accommodation fees and taxes paid, provided Owner secures another Renter for the same rental term and rate. In the event that the rental term is not re-leased in its entirety, only the portion of the rental term and rate received will be refunded to Renter. The security deposit will be forfeited.
If cancellation is requested LESS THAN 30 DAYS prior to check-in date Renters will forfeit the total rental invoice amount. The total rental includes all payments on the paid-in-full invoice and the security deposit.
MADELINE ISLAND RECYCLES
Renters are required, at a minimum, to separate glass, plastics, paper and metal recyclable materials from other waste for separate disposal. Containers have been provided for keeping recyclables separate from trash both inside and outside of the Premises.
Guests who do not sort their waste will incur a $15 fee per bag deducted from their damage deposit.
Dogs are considered on a case-by-case basis. A $75 fee will be charged per pet per stay. Pet owners are responsible for obeying leash laws (our properties are not fenced) and picking up after your pets. Dogs are required to remain on 1st floor and are not allowed on furniture or beds.
Smoking is not allowed in the Premises. If smoking outside, be aware of fire danger. Do not smoke on screen porch or directly in front of open windows or allow smoke to blow inside. Please dispose of all cigarette butts properly. You will be charged for clean-up if cigarette butts are found outside. If smoking occurs in the cabin, by any person, for any reason, the Agreement shall be terminated, and Security Deposit will be forfeited.
